Hey people

It was about time for a blog update. It’s mostly about what was going on lately and some plans for the future.

First of all, I finally submitted my first iPhone/iPod Touch application to the AppStore! Now a long wait for the approval. Hope it doesn’t get rejected because it would be nice to have the app in the AppStore before New Year’s eve. The app itself is called “KinoSporedi” and it is targeted at the Slovenian market. The only available language, at least for now, is Slovenian. I hope someone will find it useful. For you english speaking people, the name translation is “CinemaSchedules”. As you can tell from the title it provides you with information about cinema schedules for slovenian cinemas. For now only Kolosej and Planet Tus are supported. In the next update I’ll try to add PartyMax, which is a cinema in Murska Sobota. I also plan to add location support, movie ratings and the ability to comment the movies. A nice feature would also be sharing on Twitter and Facebook. If you have any suggestions write them in the comments

The next major thing that was (is) happening is college. I’m quite satisfied with it. It requires a lot of time, so less time for other things, but at least it’s something that I’m interested in. I’m also researching and developing an so called “WiiBoard”. It’s and interactive whiteboard that uses the IR camera found in the WiiMote to detect the IR pen’s position on the projected image and then simulates the mouse. Quite an interesting thing Will post some videos when I get the prototype working.

The band. We have to reorganize and make a plan AND stick with it. The first thing to do is find a new name. Tight Noodles kinda’ sucks. It’s hard to remember. Maybe it’s funny but 90% of people don’t even understand it Say that to your mom and watch her face Her reaction will probably be something like: “What!? No, I prepared spaghetti for today.” Any suggestions?

We also have to rearrange/recompose/whatever the songs. We aren’t able play them in the same way twice And we need some gigs. I will probably take the phonebook and call every single club/bar/pub and ask for a gig

Another thing is Schoolwave festival (http://www.myspace.com/schoolwave) that is held every year in Athens, Greece. It’s a festival for high school bands (2 members can also be up to 21 years old) from all europe. If all goes well and we’ll manage to record at least 2 demo songs, we’ll apply. Oh yeah, and the organizer pays all the expenses (travel, hotel…).

But first thing first, we need a plan.

Another thing that is making me crazy is London. Or better said, plane tickets to go there. First, I couldn’t get the credit card to be accepted and now the tickets price went up. Well, if all goes well I’l be in London from 14.1. to 17.1.
